Perthshire self-catering holiday accommodation sleeping 2-4 people

Luxury ground floor self-catering accommodation comprising spacious open plan sitting/dining room, divided by an archway, the sitting room has a log burning stove and two large sofas, wonderful for relaxing in front of the fire. Fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances, such as a dishwasher and washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave, there is even a picnic basket (and rug) for those planning excursions and away day trips. The large eating area has high ceilings, wooden floors, rugs and large French doors that lead straight outside to the garden and patio area.

There are two comfortable bedrooms, a double room with double bed, and a twin bedded room, all bed linen and towels are provided, and if you stay for 2 weeks we offer you a changeover with clean sheets etc... to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Outside, from the patio and the garden, you can enjoy wonderful views towards Loch Turret and the Grampian mountains. Outdoor garden furniture and a barbeque allows guests to entertain outside and eat alfresco - wonderful for a Scottish summers evening!

As well as the log burner, there is full gas central heating throughout the property - and double glazing, so it is very warm!

Guests often comment on how spacious the accommodation is - perfect for 2, 3, or 4 guests looking for a quiet holiday retreat, yet within easy reach of recreational activities and every convenience including a swimming pool in Crieff, a holiday town just half a mile away. The cottage enjoys a countryside location yet also a large village / small town atmosphere.

Families with children are welcome and a high chair and babies cot can be provided with advanced warning - a baby sitting service may also be available. For couples enjoying a romantic retreat - you can benefit from our double room occupancy - which is much cheaper than if 4 people are renting 2 bedrooms.

Although self-catering, if you wish we can put you in touch with a wonderful lady who provides fresh Scottish cooking to your door - may people ask for a casserole to await their arrival, giving the perfect start to a luxury holiday!

The cottage is pet friendly by arrangement, but we ask guests not to allow dogs onto furniture or into the bedrooms, and we also do not allow dogs to be left in the cottage on their own (this is fairly standard practise in most Scottish selfcatering properties) - however a dog sitting service however is often available by arrangement with the owners. There are free range chickens in the paddock - you are welcome to eggs during your stay, but we do ask you to keep your dogs under control so as not to scare them!

There is an abundance of wildlife around and Deer can often be seen around the property and some wonderful birds of prey.
